A new model is proposed for heat transport in the L-mode regime, which is the commonest regime of operation of Tokamaks. This model is directly derived from a previous Bohm-like model tested on JET discharges by adding a gyro-Bohm-like part that is peaked in the plasma centre and dominates the heat flux in small machines.
