Transport and Gyrokinetic Effects of Heating and Current Drive in Tokamaks

Accurate interpretation of heating and current drive experiments in the electron and ion cyclotron ranges of frequencies requires inclusion of the influences ofboth plasma transport processes and wave propagation and absorption. These issues are addressed in this paper using a three dimensional electron Fokker-Planck code and gyrokinetic theory respectively.
