Rotation and Shape Dependence of Neoclassical Tearing Mode Thresholds on JET

Experiments indicate that neoclassical tearing mode thresholds are lower in plasmas with less momentum injection, in accordance with the expected 'dynamic shielding' effect between seed perturbation and the resonant surface. Elongation and triangularity effects have been deconvolved and results indicate a modest rise in operational bN limit with triangularity. Effects in terms of underlying physics parameters are weak. For triangularity scans and lower elongation cases, this appears to be in accordance with expected trends.
