Anomalous transport and degradation of confinement during additional heating in pinch discharges are widely believed to be associated with fluctuations of random nature. Here we report some measurements and fluctuations in edge magnetic field and visible light emission carried out on the JET Tokamak and discuss the time ­ space behaviour of the broadband activity.
