Status and Prospects of RF Waves in Tokamaks
An attempt is made to summarize the status of the RF applications to tokamak as presented in this conference and to extract from it prospects for the use of RF waves in Tokamaks. The major papers of the course on Applications of RF Waves to Tokamak plasmas have been reviews of the particular heating methods and my purpose is not to repeat here with different but almost certainly less appropriate words what has been so carefully written by the respective authors. Rather more my intention is to present the message of the course as I understood it.
